What’s happening along Orange Ave in front of Florida Hospital? It looks like they are widening the road.
It turns out he’s spot on. Florida Hospital is adding a turn lane to this part of Orange Ave to improve traffic flow and they are improving the street scape along Orange Ave and King St.

Sorry folks, but widening this intersection–and it’s looking very wide–isn’t an “improvement” for pedestrian safety.
They should convert the outside lanes to parking. It’s only 4 lanes for a short segment then goes back to 2 in Ivanhoe Village. Where it goes to 4 lanes is where all the retail dies.
Do you know if any buildings are planned for those parking lots in the near-term?
All that and still no bike lanes. Pathetic.
