The former Mingos space (also formerly home to Prickly Pear and Graze) will soon house a new Oudom’s Thai and Sushi (Facebook | Website) restaurant. Oudom’s has two other locations in DeLand and Mount Dora respectively.

Just as the name suggests, Oudom’s specializes in Thai (Menu) and Sushi (Menu) food.

At this stage, we have yet to hear when they will be opening.

UPDATE: According to Faiyaz Kara from the Orlando Weekly, they are expected to open August 24. To see his write-up, click HERE.

  1. For the record PRICKLY PEAR Was succesful and was SOLD to another restaurant Group. Prickly Pear held the gaurantee on the lease until just recently. Selling a business doesnt mean it failed.. Prickly Pear did very well actually and so Did Nicks But we sold them

  2. It’s not the space, but the (recent) concepts that didn’t do well. Price point was too high.

  3. Hopefully when Artisan 420 and the Brownstones at Thornton Park open, they’ll have a sustainable customer base.
