The Firebird and To Familiar Spaces in Dream
For the first time Orlando Ballet premiers this epic fairy tale ballet and orchestral concert work by composer Igor Stravinsky, choreographed by Artistic Director Robert Hill. The Firebird is paired with To Familiar Spaces in Dream, choreographer Jessica Lang’s compelling new work with music by Philip Glass, John Cage, and Craig Armstrong. This contemporary performance includes a striking set of eight white columns representing the white keys on the piano.
