Local leather-worker, the Hide Shop (Facebook Website), is moving out of College Park and into a 700 SF stand-alone building behind Snap!Space in Mills 50 [GMap].

We actually wrote about the building being available for rent HERE back in January for property owner Jorge Boone, who confirmed the move to us earlier in the month.

The Hide Shop specializes in hand-made leather goods using materials made in the United States.

The owner of the shop, Ed Ratanun, hosts regular belt-making classes that are open to the public, which we have written about before. Classes are held on the first and third Wednesday of each month and cost $60 per person. The cost covers the belt, beverages, and snacks. Contact [email protected] to reserve your spot.
