According to a recent release from the City of Orlando, the City Council has voted on an amendment to an existing contract with Bright House Networks that will allow for the installation and management of free WiFi service at 19 community, recreation and senior centers in the Orlando area.

The service is expected to be in effect in May of this year. Residents and City staff will have access to a safe, secure wireless network that will provide full coverage inside the facilities.

The service is mostly targeted towards students in after-school and summer camp programs.
