New York Times bestselling writer, successful restaurateur, and begrudging Orlando representative, Eddie Huang, is currently the subject of an original series on Viceland.com that looks at his life.

They recently aired an episode called “Orlando” where Huang spends Chinese New Year with his family. It gave him a great opportunity to talk about how Orlando influenced his interesting career path; law school, selling weed, and restaurants.

Huang’s childhood is the basis for the hit ABC sitcom Fresh Off the Boat.

Here’s Episode 6 of Huang’s World for your viewing pleasure. The bulk of the show was taped in southwest Orlando on International Drive and in Doctor Phillips. They did manage to make a pilgrimage to David and Jackie Siegel’s house though.
