“I don’t believe in God, and I don’t believe in destiny, but I can’t shake the feeling that there’s possibly a race of mole people living in the Earth’s core playing a world-sized game of electric football and using some huge magnet to somehow always guide me to safety through the chaos.” – Chapter 6, The Hepatitis Bathtub and Other Stories

Punk superstars NOFX were just in town promoting their new book, The Hepatitis Bathtub and Other Stories. The rock biography looks at more than three decades of punk-rock history through the lens of NOFX band members, “Fat Mike” Burkett, Eric Melvin, Erik “Smelly” Sandin, and Aaron “El Hefe” Abeyta.

Penned by author JEff Alulis, the book tells the story of the band with all of the booze-fueled pranks and horror stories.

The appearance took place at Bookmark It on April 20th but the books are still available for purchase at East End Market’s indie book store.
