A new restaurant has opened in College Park specializing in tater tots and hot dogs called Doghouse (Website).
The munchie nervana is a new endeavor by the folks behind Infusion Tea (Website) and the Soda Fountain (Website), both of which are also in College Park.
Doghouse sells all sorts of dogs; beef, corndog, Kobe beef and vegan (we’re assuming that means tofu and not the ubiquitous steamed carrot on a bun).
You can choose from 25 toppings for your said dog, 11 tater tots, and they also serve beer.
2 beef dogs (not kobe, nothing extra), an order of tots (just w/salt) and a Minute Maid lemonade = $17. Dogs were Ok, tots less so. I won’t be back.
I’ve been. Dog is a bit overrated. It was really dry.

It was really good. They are still working out some kinks. The fountain soda machine wasn’t up and running, the queue/seating could use some reorganization – that sort of thing – but the food was spot on – so I think they’ll figure it out. 🙂 One of my friends got the macaroni and cheese tots and they were pretty awesome!!
