Sensarie (Website), formerly known as MoversAtlas, is one of the recent graduates from Starter Studios (Facebook | Website) latest cohorts of Orlando startups. We wrote about another Starter Studio graduate, BackStory (Facebook | Website), HERE.

Sensarie is currently in their beta testing phase maps based on hyper-local data sets. The map pictured above is their All the Singles map,  displaying an overlay of blue for single men and pink for single women. The idea is that people who are moving to Orlando can use their maps to become more familiar with Orlando’s neighborhoods prior to renting or buying a home.

Areas of note that singles should pay attention to include: Park Avenue/Rollins College (UCF is too far out for this first beta test), Lake Eola Heights, Milk District, and an area of College Park to the northeast. Baldwin Park has more pink, but less singles overall and there also seems to be an excess of single girls on Columbia Street and Barnett Park. Single men seemed to be congregating near John Young, closer to Universal.

Above is their Restaurant Hot Spot map. Each cluster represents at least five restaurants within 400 feet of each other. Isolated restaurants with no foodie neighbors are not represented. This is not a density map, it is rather a map of interesting places to eat, that have more choices. The owners informed us that they filtered out fast food locations and focused on sit-down or table service restaurants.

Other maps include Home Buyers vs. Home Renters, Dog Friendliness, and Average Income.

Sensarie will be launching a more refined, expanded beta version that covers all of Orange County around June 14th. They are available for custom maps. For more information, email [email protected].
