UPDATE: The updated name of the project is “Eleven on Thornton.”
A developer has filed a request to rezone property at 844 N. Thornton Avenue from 0-1/T to Planned Development, in order to accommodate an 11-unit, rear-loaded townhome development.
The three-story townhomes would replace the currently vacant Night Lite Pediatrics building on the corner of East Marks Street and North Thornton Avenue, just a block west of Mills Avenue [GMap]. The design program is meant to fit in with the Transitional Craftsman Bungalow styles of architecture found in the surrounding Mills 50 and Park Lake Highland neighborhoods.
Each townhome will come with a private front yard and two-car garage.
The project is currently scheduled for a public hearing at the Municipal Planning Board on July 19, 2016.

Actually I’m not sure Jorge Boone. I hate to say one way or the other without looking at it again but I’m out of pocket right now. I think they were for sale though.
Happy to see new development in this area of Mills50. Will these be for sale or for rent?
Hey Hilary, they’ll definitely take that into consideration when looking at the plan.
And deal with lake highland traffic twice daily? Nahhhh
Yikes. Does the orlando planning/permitting department EVER take traffic into consideration?? Certainly doesn’t seem like it… we’ll see if this gets the green light.
