A developer is proposing a new duplex development for the southwest corner of Mount Vernon Street and North Fern Creek Avenue [GMap].
The 10,232 SF property is vacant and within the Colonialtown South Historic District, where the majority of infill over the last few years has been two-story single family.
According to the report, the applicant is “proposing to construct a two story duplex with an attached one story two car garage between the units and an additional detached one story two car garage.” The proposed gross square footage is 6190 square feet which includes the front porches and the two garage areas.
