The Austin-based Tex-Mex restaurant has opened another Central Florida location, this time in Winter Park’s Lakeside Plaza, at 170 S. Orlando Avenue [GMap].
The Winter Park store (Facebook | Website) showcases Chuy’s signature décor, which includes an Elvis shrine, hubcaps on the ceiling and signature school of fish “swimming” through the restaurant. There is also a fish bowl-like tortilla-making station, tucked behind a glass wall, sandwiched between the main dining room and the kitchen.
Chuy’s is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner, with a happy hour from 4 to 7 p.m.
