The Winter Park Institute’s second speaker of the season is Joel Sartore (Website), a National Geographic fellow and photographer. Sartore will speak at the Knowles Memorial Chapel on October 13, at 7:30 p.m.

Sartore is the founder of the National Geographic Photo Ark, a project that means to document every animal that is living in captivity, in an effort to raise awareness and support for endangered animals. Sartore’s photographs will be projected on the side of the chapel, prior to the event.

Rollins alum Thane Maynard, the director of the Cincinnati Zoo will also be part of the talk.
