We often get photographs from our Bungalower readers of things that are happening around town, and we have started featuring them on the site in a series called Eyes on the Street, in honor of our hero Jane Jacobs. Bungalower reader Jenna Halliwell gave us a tip about this restaurant being open and sent the following photos. Thanks Jenna.

“Hi there! I thought you’d like to know that Gaviota, the new restaurant between Oudom and Stubborn Mule is open. Didn’t have the chance to try it yet.” – Jenna Halliwell

Gaviota Seafood and Fine Peruvian Cuisine (Facebook | Website) has opened in the Sanctuary building at 100 South Eola Drive [GMap]. Gaviota, which means “seagull” in Spanish, is owned by Tony Wallace and Gabriela Altamirano. We first wrote about Gaviota opening back in August, HERE.
