The Delaney Hotel and Delaney’s Tavern is about to begin their official demolition phase of construction in the coming weeks. The Delaney project involves putting a 54-room boutique and hotel and 6,000 SF bar and restaurant in the former home of Doc’s Streetside Grille in Downtown South. We wrote about this project back in December, 2015, HERE.

The $12M project will completely renovate the current three-story building at 1315 South Orange Avenue which once housed Doc’s and various medical offices. The hotel is planned to be a 4-diamond level boutique, and the restaurant will feature a menu of New American cuisine. The developers will be adding a business center, fitness center, a grab-n-go shop in the lobby, and a 325-space covered parking deck.

The Delaney Hotel and Delaney’s Tavern are both expected to be completed by May, 2017.
