Wild Tasty Food (Facebook ) is a farmer-owned, local food market that has opened in the Milk District at 2925 East South Street [GMap].

Wild Tasty Food (WTF) specializes in farmfresh and locally-sourced items, as well as some specialty items from out-of-state. The shelves are lined with ice pops, honey, Florida coconuts, specialty greens, leafy greens growing on two hydroponic towers in the store, in-season fruits and vegetables, and sells locally butchered meat products.

The fridge full of locally-made dairy products is sourced from Natural Springs Dairy Products in Pomona Park, Florida (Facebook). We met the owner of the Dairy himself, Marty Woods, who told us the raw dairy products in the fridge were meant for dogs.

Hours are 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday to Friday, and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

  1. Juan Camacho neat. We should try some of the products from here. Right next to our house. I pass it all the time walking to yoga. Come wit meh.

  2. Yes, I have and I like it. Still needs interior work but don’t let that deter you. I’ve had eggs, chicken, beef and many vegetables from here. All very good and the vision is even greater. They will be a good community asset.
