Saturday, November 12 will see multiple events in Downtown Orlando, namely the Veteran’s Day Parade at 11 a.m. and Come Out With Pride which will be taking place from noon to 10 p.m. at Lake Eola Park, with fireworks at 9 p.m.

The City of Orlando is encouraging residents to use alternative modes of transportation, as many Downtown roads will be closed or redirected. Some public parking garages will also be closed. Your alternative means of transportation include:

  • LYMMO
  • Bicycling (Try Juice Bike Share)
  • Car Share/Carpooling
  • SunRail Saturday Service (Schedule HERE, begins at 1 p.m.)

If you are attending the Veteran’s Day Parade please refer to the City’s Flag Protocol sheet, HERE, for how Americans are expected to treat the flag.
