UPDATE: THE CITY HAS INFORMED US THAT NO PLANS FOR THIS PROPERTY HAVE BEEN SUBMITTED TO PERMITTING AT THE TIME OF THIS POST.

We often get tips from our Bungalower readers about things they’ve seen around town. We have started featuring them on the site in a series called Eyes on the Street, in honor of our hero Jane Jacobs.

According to an anonymous reader (their decision,) the infamous “hoarder house” at 101 East Princeton Street [GMap] in College Park was recently demolished.

Hey Bungalower! Did you see the old hoarder house was knocked down?

Formerly owned by computer gear outfit Aneks Group Inc., the 2,469 SF single-family home had been in disrepair for years, with all of the street-facing windows being fogged with mildew yest still revealing an interior full of boxes, stacked floor-to-ceiling.

The property sold in June, 2016 to Joseph Leigh Investments LLC for $299,100. We are unsure what will be replacing it at this time.
