Hanger and Cloth (Facebook | Website) is a new Orlando-based clothing company that specializes in the basics; denim, tees, and pullovers. It launched two years ago but after a successful Kickstarter campaign in April that raised $25,000, the shop is about to ramp up production.

H&C founder, Trent Robinson, was born in Japan but came to Orlando via San Diego. He started Hanger and Cloth following a bicycle accident that landed him in the hospital and one of his favorite shirts ripped when he tried to get it over his neck brace. All of his products are made in the USA by American manufactures in Los Angeles and Bristol, TN, with an emphasis on comfort and sustainable materials.

He’s eschewing a brick and mortar model at the moment in favor of pushing online sales. The online shop is expected to open by mid-December, just in time for holiday shopping.

Pop-up shops are currently being planned for the next year.
