A Call for Artists went out in December, 2014 for public art proposals to be installed at the Florida Hospital SunRail platform. More on that HERE.
The project was awarded to local artist Martha Lent (Website), who used the $50,000 in grant money to create a 41 by 13-foot-tall hand-painted mural installation which was just installed on Friday, December 16, two years later. We were there to take the above photo.
The project is being made possible by a National Endowment for the Arts “Our Town” grant.
