EDIT: The Rais have reopened the convenience store under limited hours. The deli side will remain closed/provide limited options for the foreseeable future as Arati heals.

A Go Fund Me has been launched to support the owners of the Handy Pantry in Lake Eola Heights. One the owners, Arati Rai, was hospitalized on Saturday due to an infection in her ankle, causing the popular corner General Store to be closed for a number of days.

Dev Rai, the husband, is known for serenading his customers with his handmade flutes while Arati cooks up the sandwiches.

It is unknown when the Handy Pantry will reopen.
