EDIT: The owners told Bungalower that they’re hoping to start selling the chicken out of the actual commissary kitchen for the initial few months of operations. Then eventually out of a trailer near their original location on Orange Avenue

The Olde Dixie Fried Chicken permanently closed their South Orange Avenue location in May, 2016. Since then they have been seeking a new home for their restaurant.

According to a recent post on their Facebook page, Olde Dixie Fried Chicken (Facebook) is close to frying birds again. Scroll down to see the post.

We’ve reached out to them for more information.

  1. Really? I never set foot in the place and given the sign out front they were likely happy with that…and all of you go on wallowing in the nostalgia.

  2. The abandoned chicken place on Michigan and Osceola that’s rumored to be a gringos Locos, where are we on that?
