RENDERING OF ARRAY VIA OUC

OUC, Orlando’s municipal utility, will begin installing a floating solar array on a large pond near its Gardenia Operations Center [GMap] on February 9.

The installation of the new 31.5 kW array is expected to take just two days, and will send up to 31,500 watts of power into the OUC grid.

The project cost $90,000 and is expected to pay for itself in a short amount of time, and was manufactured by Ciele and Terre.
