SOAP IN ANCIENT MESOPOTAMIA

We often get photographs and tips from our Bungalower readers of things that are happening around town, so we have started featuring them on the site in a series called Eyes on the Street, in honor of our favorite urbanist Jane Jacobs.

Shawn Seipler, CEO and President of Clean the World (Facebook | Website), recently announced on that the locally-based charity would be moving into a new home at 2544 E. Landstreet by the Orlando International Airport [GMap].

According to Seipler’s post, they plan to be completely relocated by March.

The new building is larger than their former space in Parramore and will allow them to create a new Clean the World’s Museum of the History of Soap, featuring “the world’s largest collection of soap bars, soap packaging, personal care advertisements, illustrations, and incredible historical items …”

We reported in December, 2016, HERE, that a coffee roaster and brewery were looking to relocate into the Clean the World building, located on the corner of North Hughey Avenue and West Robinson Street [GMap].
