Electronic Waste and Textile Recycling Collection. 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25 at Orlando Festival Park. Dispose of your old electronics and household textiles, responsibly.
City Beautiful Waterway Cleanup. 9 a.m.-11 a.m. Saturday, March 11 at 4724 Raleigh Street. Help remove litter from the shoreline of Lake Fran. More info HERE.
Urban Forestry Institute 2017. Thursday and Friday, March 16 and 17. Learn all about managing urban forests. More info HERE.
12th Annual Mayor Dyer’s Neighborhood and Community Summit. Saturday, March 18. Learn all about the resources available from the City of Orlando. KOB will present on recycling and reducing waste. More info HERE.
Waste to Wonder. 6 p.m. Saturday, March 18 at Central Florida Fair Grounds. A youth fashion show using recycled items that were diverted from the landfill. More info HERE.
Earth Day. 9-11:30 a.m. Saturday, April 8 at Callahan Neighborhood Center. Remove litter and plant new trees and flowers. More info HERE.
Earth Day. 5-8:30 p.m. Friday, April 21 at Bill Frederick Park at Turkey Lake. Take part in plantings and litter removal along Washington Street in the Parramore District. Check in HERE.
