The City of Orlando has qualified five firms, following a Request for Qualifications for an Orlando Main Street Bicycle and Pedestrian Study.

The firms qualified include:

1. Cribb Philbeck Weaver Group, Inc.
2. HDR Engineering, Inc.
3. Renaissance Planning Group, Inc.
4. Vanasse Hangen Brustlin, Inc.
5. Toole Design Group, LLC

The solicitation was part of a search for professional engineering services to assist the City in creating a comprehensive economic action plan in two specific Main Street districts; Milk District and Mills 50.

The study will look at establishing a comprehensive streetscape that addresses design, cost estimates, maintenance plans, and jurisdicional issues that are unique to each district, with the ultimate goal of enhancing the pedestrian and vehicular environment.
