The third phase of construction costs for the streetscape improvements on West Central Boulevard were approved last month, the total cost of which will be $4,317,537.
The corridor in question stretches along West Central Boulevard between Glenn Lane and Hughey Avenue. Improvements to be carried out include a completely new road base and surface, new curbing, as well as updates to the sidewalk, landscaping, and street lighting.
Improvements will also be made to West Pine Street between Terry Avenue and the new Soccer Stadium, and on West Church Street between South Lee Lane and Terry Avenue. Those improvements include roadway resurfacing, a new sidewalk, new lighting an.
The Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) will be contributing $1,237,975 to the project.
