Orlando’s newest Main Street program, The Milk District (Facebook | Website) is looking for local artists to paint a series of electrical storage boxes in the neighborhood.

The call for artists, available HERE, lists a variety of possible inspiring subjects, including milk trucks, skateboarders, bicycles, pho, cats, and airplanes.

Designs can be digital or hand-painted, but only a few will be able to be wrapped on the box rather than directly applied by brush. All designs must be original work, by the submitting artist, and not offensive in nature.

Selected artists will be given $50 for supplies and a $100 honorarium upon completion of their box.

Artists have until May 31 to submit their designs. Design selection will take place in June with installation taking place in July/August.
