A new craft beer house and package store called Whippoorwill will be opening on the southern edge of the Milk District; what some people call the Almond Milk District, due to its proximity to vegetarian-friendly Market on South. According to paperwork filed with the City, Whippoorwill will be located at 2425 E. South Street [GMap].
Listed renovations to the site include painting the exterior, resurfacing the parking lot and re-striping to include handicap spaces, and a complete renovation of the 2,160 SF interior.
Whippoorwill will focus on selling craft beer and wine, and will not be offering spirits. They also won’t be playing “loud music” or allow smoking.
Neither a website or social site have been launched for this concept, at the time of this post.
