The City of Orlando will be hosting a summit for Central Florida’s LGBTQ+ community on Saturday, May 6, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Beardall Senior Center [GMap].

The Orlando Youth Empowerment Summit (OYES) is meant to provide community leaders and allies with resources and education to support understanding, acceptance and inclusion in the community.

The summit, sponsored by District 4 City Commissioner Patty Sheehan and VITAS Healthcare in collaboration with local LGBTQ+ community partners, is free and open to the public.
