The City of Orlando’s Creative Village Development Review Committee has approved plans for a 15-story student housing development, for the Downtown UCF/Valencia College campus in Parramore.

The planned mixed-use building would house 7,700 students when completed, if approved by City Council this month. Other features include a 600-space parking garage, offices, retail, and restaurant space on the ground floor, and 105,000 SF of education space; to be used by the Valencia College Walt Disney World School of Hospitality and Culinary Arts.

UCF and Valencia student support services will also be located here.

If approved, construction is expected to begin this fall, with a fall 2019 completion date.

There is a public ground breaking for the Downtown campus this Thursday, May 11 at 10:30 a.m. Click HERE for more information.
