SPONSORED: This updated three-bedroom, two-bathroom pool home, is located at 1410 Maury Road [GMap] in College Park’s Ardsley Manor neighborhood. Ardsley Manor sprouted up on the western shore of Lake Silver in the 50s, and is just a short bike ride away from the award-winning dining and shopping on Edgewater Drive.

This mid-century home was built in 1955 and sits on a quarter-acre lot with its own pool in the back, a large driveway with enough room to turn around without backing into the street, and a two-car carport with covered parking, storage, and a laundry room with a washer and dryer.

The newly-refreshed kitchen features an island with a granite counter-top with plenty of room for seating on all sides and modern stainless-steel appliances.

The open kitchen and living room are adjoined, forming a great room, which is ideal for entertaining and even boasts a stone-faced fireplace.

The carpeting in the second bedroom has been removed, revealing the newly restored, original hardwood flooring, and the master bath comes with a large walk-in shower.

Windows throughout the home have been updated and sealed, a new electric panel was installed in 2009, and the roof was redone in 2010.

The asking price is $269,000.

  1. I also have to add: IMO, the lens used on the photos isn’t helping anything. Sure it creates depth, making the rooms appear larger, but it distorts things into an uncomfortable shape and shows way too much ceiling.

    1. Jason, Thanks for your comment. The home has been “updated” – windows, roof, electrical panel & kitchen. It hasn’t been “remodeled” or “renovated” and there are certainly cosmetic updates a new owner may want to make. But lots of possibility and a quarter acre lot. As a broker I take care to represent a home in the most accurate light possible – hence including a 3D model, floor plan, walk-through video tour & professional photographs. I think anyone who schedules a viewing of the home having read the description and having viewed the materials online won’t encounter any surprises in person. At least that’s always our goal!

      1. I see a great opportunity to create a 2/2 with an emphasis on a big Master and added walk in closet. Great base for a Mid Refresh. Value is great for College Park.
