Orlando Meats (Facebook | Website) will soft open their new Ivanhoe Village location on Monday, July 3. Just in time for Independence Day BBQs.
The new location has been in the works for over a year and will be located in the former Flag World space, between the Matador and Santiago’s Bodega [GMap].
It will include a full-service, whole-animal butchery and a fast-casual restaurant; serving breakfast and lunch using locally-sourced and organic products, as well as locally-roasted coffee.
Gardens in front of the new shop were installed by the Audubon Park-based Fleet Farming initiative.
The butcher shop will soft open on July 3 with the restaurant concept opening in the weeks to follow. Current hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Orlando Meats is hiring for all positions; servers, cashiers, butchers, cooks, and dishwashers. Click HERE to apply.
I have been looking forward to the opening, but the parking may be a nightmare. The gardens up front are aesthetically nice, but seem to be hazardous, as they have taken up much needed entry way space. A tight front entry way is not so welcoming.
