Orlando residents will be able to celebrate the Fourth of July at Lake Eola Park at the 40th Annual Fireworks at the Fountain.

Festivities begin at 4 p.m. with activities for children, live music, and food and beverages available for purchase. The evening will conclude with a fireworks display over Lake Eola. Click HERE for more event information.

There will be several street closures as part of Independence Day celebrations in the Downtown area, including:

  • Robinson Street from Rosalind Avenue to Summerlin Avenue, 7 a.m.–midnight.
  • Eola Drive from Robinson Street to Washington Street, 7 a.m.–midnight.
  • Central Boulevard from Rosalind Avenue to Eola Drive, 2 p.m.–midnight.
  • Rosalind Avenue from South Street to Robinson Street, 2 p.m.–midnight.

For those of you who want to stay home to keep their dogs calm, you can watch the fireworks finale broadcast live on WKMG News 6.

Independence Day Eagle Circle Extended

For anyone wanting to get out early on Independence Day, the Blue Hammers will be leaving B3 Cafe at 6:15 a.m. and riding Eagle Circle with their own extended add on before returning to B3 between 9-9:30 a.m. The ride distance will end up between 50-55 miles.
