The popular Winter Park coffee shop, Foxtail Coffee Co. (Instagram | Website), celebrated the grand opening of its second location, on the ground floor of the Bank of America building in Downtown Orlano [GMap].
Occupying space within the French-inspired Dovecote Brasserie, Foxtail’s service station is located adjacent the restaurant’s bar. Patrons can also enjoy the expansive indoor courtyard designed with the familiar décor of the inaugural shop.
Co-Founder, Iain Yeakle, shared with Bungalower, that the culinary partnership seemed like a natural fit.
“I remember when this opened [Dovecote] and I loved what they were doing here. We wanted to come downtown, because we love Orlando and we wanted to officially enter Orlando.” – Iain yeakle
The concept took approximately two-and-a-half months for Yeakle and his partner, Alex Tchekmeian, to perfect for opening. The two also worked with Dovecote chef, Clay Miller, to create their seasonally changing breakfast menu. Food options include a variety of sandwiches like Smoked Salmon an Avocado Toast, Pork Belly Biscuit, as well as pastries like blueberry and almond coffee cake, banana bread and traditional macaroons.
Morning items are served Monday-Friday and Sundays from 8:30 a.m.-noon with the addition of Saturdays in the coming weeks.
Visitors can enjoy Foxtail’s new hours, every day, from 7 a.m.–10 p.m. Guests can access the bar through the formal Dovecote entrance (on Livingston) with complimentary curbside parking or the building’s main entrance on Orange Avenue.
For parking, guests can utilize the designated Foxtail spots available in the parking lot to the left of the building. Additionally, Dovecote offers parking validation to patrons using building’s garage.
Foxtail founders felt the importance of adding a sense of community to Downtown Orlando with plans for continual expansion. The company will finish out 2017 opening it’s third location in the Hourglass District off Bumby and Curry Ford and one more unconfirmed location.
