Artborne Magazine (Facebook Website) is for sale.

The owner of the fledgling arts magazine, Jonathan Yubi, has moved to New York City and is looking to sell. The asking price is $30,000.

Yubi told Bungalower that in its first year of operations, the glossy magazine brought in roughly $57,000 in sales, which we were unable to confirm. Artborne was awarded “Best New Arts Publication” in the Orlando Weekly‘s “Best Of” issue.

The last issue was printed in June after a 12-month run and they have recurring advertisers like Remixed, Menello Museum of American Art, and the Downtown Art District looking to renew for the next 12 months.

Yubi admitted that he still owes $5,000 to the printer for the last issue run and $3,000 in loans used to launch the startup, as well as an undisclosed amount to former staff members.

Purchase would include all print collateral including website, social media accounts, client list, and email list of 800 subscribers.
