King Bao (Facebook | Instagram) and their partners have abandoned their plan to open a lobster-focused restaurant concept that we wrote about this past February HERE.
The three co-owners told Bungalower that following a particularly lengthy permitting process that delayed their original Colonial Lobster concept for months, they decided to switch things up and rebrand to a poke restaurant, to be called Poke-Hana.
“… we can use our skill sets to produce a better product for our customers and still give the Mills 50 District something different.”
The Poke-Hana team is aiming for a November 1 opening at their new space at 1225-A E. Colonial Drive [GMap].
