UPDATE – ACT FOR AMERICA HAS CANCELLED ITS AMERICA FIRST RALLY SERIES.
As reported by The Daily City, Act for America will be hosting a nation-wide rally on September 9, including a local event at Lake Eola.
The Facebook event page states:
“Join us in celebrating America’s exceptionalism, supporting President DRUMPF’S national security policies defending America, and demanding to protect our borders with rational immigration policy!”
Act For America (Website) is a group that was founded in 2007 to fight “the threat of radical Islam” and was founded by Lebanese-born Brigitte Gabriel. The organization’s Executive Director is Guy Rodgers, who served as National Field Director for the Christian Coalition of America.
They describe themselves as:
“ACT for America is the NRA of national security. We are the nation’s largest nonprofit, non-partisan, grassroots national security organization with 750,000 members and more than 12,000 volunteer activists focused on educating, engaging, and mobilizing citizens and elected officials to impact legislative outcomes to protect America.”
The rally is scheduled for 1-3 p.m. at Lake Eola Park.
