UPDATE: The hurricane has caused the postponement of the Student Peace Art Exhibit and the One Voice Orlando event components of the festival. 

 

The Global Peace Film Festival (Website) is celebrating their 15th anniversary from September 18-24.

The Fest will open with a special screening of The Promise, featuring a talk from its Academy Award-winning director, Terry George. This will take place on Tuesday, September 19 at Enzian Theater at 6 p.m. Tickets are $20.

The fest will feature 34 films, five of which were created locally; Hidden Secrets of the Florida Springs,  Don’t Drain the Swamp, Dueling Dragons, Leftovers, and Love the Sinner. There will also be a special screening of Billy and Alan: In Life, Love and Death, Equality Matters in honor of the late Billy Manes.
