We often get photographs and tips from our Bungalower readers of things that are happening around town, so we have started featuring them on the site in a series called Eyes on the Street, in honor of our favorite urbanist Jane Jacobs.

“You might want to report that the Homegrown Local Food Cooperative is closing at the end of this month. It is a great loss to our community.” – Pam Rogers

Homegrown Local Food Cooperative (Facebook) has recently announced to its members and produce partners that they will be closing their business.

The member-owned and operated market, located in a small yellow building by the Florida Hospital, which is actually the landlord.

According to Tiffany Bailey, the former manager of the coop, the Hospital is actually looking at occupying the building themselves in the near future.
