The governmental triumvirate that is Orange County, the City of Winter Park, and the City of Orlando, have lifted the Lake Advisory that was placed on all City lakes following Hurricane Irma.

Storms like Hurricane Irma have a high possibility of contaminating municipal water bodies due to sewage overflows and run-off pollution. Wildlife becomes active and highly stressed, and there is the increased likelihood of hidden underwater hazards.

The three aforementioned governments have just announced that all waterway activities may resume but residents should still exercise extreme caution.
