Construction on the new Denning Drive multi-use trail is scheduled to begin on Monday, October 9. We first wrote about the Denning Drive road diet HERE in 2015.

The trail project will be divided into three phases, with the first affecting the segment between Orange and Fairbanks avenues. Denning will be reduced to two lanes, adding a new multi-use trail for pedestrians and cyclists.

Changes include an on-and-off street bike trail, landscaped medians, enhanced midblock pedestrian crossings, and left turn lanes at signalized intersections.

Construction on the first phase is expected to take up to eight weeks. The completion date for all three phases is Summer 2018.
