The Concessions Department at the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (endearingly known as the “Authority”) is responsible for roughly 150,000 SF of retail and service space in the airport. And they are looking to fill some of that space with local Orlando vendors through their Retail Merchandising Unit (RMU) Program.

Small business owners and artists can apply for an RMU by filling out an Expression of Interest form HERE. Preference is given to vendors who can highlight the “vibrancy of Orlando’s economy and culture.”

The RMUs, or kiosks, are located post-security inside the terminals and operate on a leasing structure for a percentage of sales; 15% for small business retailers and 12% for artists.

Selected vendors must be open from 7 a.m.-9 p.m., 365 days a year and must provide a Certificate of General Liability Insurance in the amount of $5 million and provide a security deposit equal to two month’s rent.
