The Dorothy Lumley Melrose Center at the Orlando Public Library is hosting their 2018 Melrose Awards on February 17, 2018.

The awards recognize projects that were created using the resources available at the Melrose Center in the Orange County Library System during the past year. Award categories include Film, Audio Maker, Photography and Graphic Design, and Game Design and Programming.

Winners are determined by public vote, expert opinions, and “collective use of the Melrose Center.”The grand prize winner of the awards will win a $1,000 cash prize, and the first-place winners in each category will receive $250.
