Hey guys, get your rave on because EDC is coming to Orlando.
Art in Odd Places Orlando 2017/NOISE invites you to its annual public art and performance festival, taking place from November 10-12, 2017, along Orange Avenue, from Wall Street to South Street. This years festival features visual/ installation, performance, time-based media, virtual/gaming work, online-IRL hybrids, and many others that explore this years theme of “Noise” and actively engage the public realm.
Artist talk/Q&A session from about 7:30-8:30. Reception will be immediately after. There will be refreshments.
SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 11
The Festival of Trees, now in its thirty-first year, transforms the Orlando Museum of Art into a glittering wonderland filled with sparkling trees, vignettes, and décor for visitors of all ages.
The Florida Association of Veteran Owned Businesses is hosting a Fundraiser Event at Ace Cafe in downtown Orlando Florida on Saturday, November 11th in honor of Veterans Day. This Thanksgiving we will bring a formal dining experience to the homeless.
The City of Winter Park and Winter Park Public Library will partner to host the second “Don’t Pitch it, Fix it” Workshop. This unique community event will provide the opportunity for residents to have broken items repaired by skilled volunteers and/or swap items with other members of the community. Items that may be considered for fixing or swapping include clothing, eye glasses, bicycles, furniture, electronics, tools, fishing poles and much more. Services are subject to change or increase.

The College Park Neighborhood Association is excited to have 19 homes and 6 porch stops included Tour of Home Nov. 12, 2017. The tour begins at 1:00 PM with check in at the CP Community Center 2393 Elizabeth Ave. The tour ends at 5:00 PM and is followed by a party for homeowners and volunteers at Dubsdread. College Park Neighborhood Association members receive two free admissions, while tickets for non-members are $25.00.
UCF School of Visual Arts and Design Film Showcase Sunday, November 12th 7:00pm Doors, 7:30pm Show. $10-$20 donation suggested. Please bring food or wine to share. Each year the Film Program at the UCF School of Visual Arts and Design hosts the Fall Showcase – A retrospective of short films that expose viewers to the groundbreaking world of independent, micro-process cinema.
