IDignity (Website) and the Homeless Services Network will be holding a memorial service to honor homeless persons who died in 2017.

The annual candlelight service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 19,  just a few days before the Winter Solstice, since it is the longest night of the year, in recognition of men and women who died in the street or in emergency shelters. The memorial is meant to honor them as Orlandoans, and as people.

The service is held at the First United Methodist Church of Orlando, located at 142 E. Jackson Street [GMap] and the public is welcome to attend.

IDignity provides assistance to locals who need help getting documents for identification purposes.
