The City of Orlando will be hosting Wreaths Across America Day at Greenwood Cemetery on Saturday, December 16 at noon to honor veterans during the holiday season.

Senior Chief James B. Moore, USN will host the ceremony honoring veterans from all branches of the military while ceremonial wreaths are placed on their graves by active members of OPD and OFD.

Another 600 wreaths will be placed in the American Legion/Military, Union, Spanish American War, and Confederate sections of the Greenwood Cemetery. Orlando residents are also allowed to participate in the placing of the wreaths.

Greenwood Cemetery is located at 1603 Greenwood Street [GMap].
