As we announced HERE, Alden Road is being rerouted around the under-construction The Yard at Ivanhoe Village development, and will be absorbing a portion of Philadelphia Avenue, which runs parallel to its original trajectory but just to the east.
The intersection is scheduled to re-open on Monday, December 18 and Alden Road will now run from behind the Hammered Lamb and northward to Lake Formosa via a new fancy intersection pictured below.
The new intersection will eventually be equipped with its own traffic light, but that is expected to be installed towards the end of the construction on-site. Until then there will simply be a stop sign at the intersection of Alden and Virginia.
The old segment of Alden will be replaced by greenspace and courtyards.
