They City of Orlando has established eight new loading zones for residents to catch their rides out of Downtown. The zones are meant to make it easier for those leaving at nighttime to use ride-sharing services or to catch a taxi.

The new initiative was dreamed up during Project DTO as a response to mobility concerns for late-night guests who all vacate the Central Business District at the same time each night, and is being pushed forward by the City’s new Bar Czar, Dominque Greco Ryan.

Each of the loading zones will allow cars to stop for five-minute intervals between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m.

The eight loading zones are located at the following locations:
