EDIT: We originally stated that Omar Delgado was terminated for recording Regina Hill during a medical call, which is obviously incorrect. That sentence has been changed.

Filmmaker Charlie Minn will be hosting an evening at the Orlando Public Library on January 24 to discuss his latest film, 49 Pulses, which takes a look at the survivors of the Pulse nightclub shooting.

Also in attendance will be Omar Delgado and Pulse survivor Orlando Torres. This is not a screening.

The film’s premiere will be at Orlando Fashion Square on January 26 but 49 Pulses will also be available on Hoopla on January 28, which means library card-holders can stream the film for free online. We wrote about Hoopla previously HERE.

The library screening begins at 6:15 p.m. at the Orlando Public Library, which is located at 101 E. Central Boulevard [GMap].

  1. I am out of town during these showings, are these two dates the only available times to see this?

    1. So far these are the only public screenings. But if you’re a library card holder you can watch it for free on Hoopla via the link we posted in the article.

  2. Your article incorrectly states that Omar Delgado was fired for recording Commissioner Regina Hill during a medical call. First responder Joshua Granada was the firefighter who was terminated for recording her. Please correct this. It adds confusion to those following Omar Delgado’s unfair treatment by the Eatonville Police Department.

  3. On June 13, 2016 I started a rewrite of an ABBA song, with Orlando – Post Pulse as the title. It really works. Can you help me get the song sheet to Charlie Minn. No joke, it always brings a tear and a smile when I play and sing it. Trevor

    1. The best way to do that would be to visit him at the library for this screening!
